Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan, commonly referred to as C.P. Radhakrishnan, is an Indian politician who is the current Vice President-elect of India. He previously served as Governor of Maharashtra from July 2024 to September 2025 and the Governor of Jharkhand from February 2023 to July 2024. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since his youth, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Coimbatore in the 1998 and re-elected in the 1999 general elections. He was also the state president of the BJP in Tamil Nadu from 2003 to 2006.
